1. Purification principle
First of all, although both water purifiers can purify impurities in water, their purification principles are different. The RO reverse osmosis water purifier is equipped with an RO reverse osmosis membrane, which allows water to pass through the RO membrane under the action of pressure. Impurities such as inorganic salts, heavy metal ions, bacteria, and viruses will be blocked by the reverse osmosis membrane.
The ultrafiltration water purifier purifies the water source through its internal ultrafiltration membrane. Driven by the pressure difference, the water source can pass through this membrane and filter out impurities.

2. Purification accuracy
Two water purifiers using different purification methods have different purification accuracy based on different principles. There is a layer of RO membrane inside the RO reverse osmosis water purifier. The pore size of this membrane is as small as the nanometer level, and the volume of viruses and bacteria as small as that of the RO membrane is thousands of times the pore size of the RO membrane. Basically, what passes through the RO membrane only contains water and does not contain other elements. The filtered water can be drunk raw or boiled.
There is an ultrafiltration membrane inside the ultrafiltration water purifier. The pore size accuracy of this filter membrane ranges from 0.01 to 0.001 μm, which is an order of magnitude larger than the RO reverse osmosis water purifier. At the same time, the ultrafiltration membrane not only allows water to pass through, but also allows some smaller molecules, such as some mineral elements, to pass through.

3. Filter results
The RO reverse osmosis water purifier separates moisture and concentrated water under a certain pressure. This requires the water purifier to not only be powered on, but also produce a certain proportion of wastewater.
Ultrafiltration water purifiers rely entirely on water pressure for regulation and do not need to be connected to a power source.
