Stainless steel water Filters

Sunday, November 15th, 2009

I have noticed the Asian stainless steel systems are being offered again, I can’t caution you enough about how bad these systems are.Just about all the water filter suppliers have had a go at these systems over the years because they look great and the idea of a stainless steel system is appealing to say the least but they are a nightmare. We purchased some about 4 years ago and regret it as we re-called all of them and replaced with our premium plastic range. They were extremely difficult to replace a cartridge in and precision seems to be something the manufacturers are yet to master as the cartridges within would on some fail to seal, they were prone to blowing their O rings and leaking. I had a customer contact me this week with one of these systems that had a pin hole in the housing because it rusted through, yes rusted through, because they are such a low quality stainless steel it shouldn’t be called stainless steel because they rust, we didn’t supply this system to this person but as all before him he replaced it with a quality plastic system. We still have these housings in stock and I will dispose of them which is a shame, I have thought about giving them away for free to a customer but even if supplied for free we are still liable for the damage from flooding that they can cause.  Buy from us or don’t buy from us but what ever you do don’t buy an Asian stainless steel system.

Undersink water filter - A good health drink provider

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Drinking pure water is better than all things for healthy living, but simply using water which may contain contaminants and chemicals is not perfect for protecting your family from the dangers of water diseases. And, we also need to realize the fact that water pollution will remain persistent everywhere as long as human activities stay busy. Evidently, U.S Health Officials has estimated that 900,000 people each year become ill and possibly 900 die from waterborne disease. More to say, water pollution is any chemical, physical or biological change in the quality of water that has a harmful effect on any living thing that drinks or uses or lives in it. When humans drink polluted water it often has serious effects on their health. Water pollution can also make water unsuited for the desired use. And, many people have sufficiently realized that the quality of their drinking water is not ideal. Maybe it’s the taste or odor. Perhaps it’s the various chemicals and contaminants in the ta…
More About: Undersink water filter

Shower Filter s provide great protection against chemicals and harsh elements that come through the examining lines in a structure. Normally, you may be happy to see water coming from the shower head, but, in fact, there is chlorine in the water that is harmful to skin and hair. In practical, all municipal water carries chlorine and has been subjected to processes that supposedly make it fir for use.Apart from controlling chlorine, Shower Filters also take care of dirt and odors. In hard water areas, specks of sand, or rock, come through the water lines. Anyone who has water filter faucets or traps on their faucets has to clean out the miniscule particles every once in a while. If not, they would eventually clog the filters. Therefore, you need to replace it approximately after every six months.A shower filter is the most convenient and suitable way to reduce harmful exposure of chlorine and other chemicals.
